PRIVACY POLICY UNDER REGULATIONS FOR PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

This privacy policy statement is provided pursuant to art. 13 of (UE) 2016/679 Regulations (hereafter ‘GDPR’), relating to the protection of natural persons when processing their personal data.

Our website (hereafter ‘Website’) and all the services provided (hereafter ‘Services’) are not addressed to 16-year-old minors and as Data Controller Doubleice S.p.A. (hereafter ‘Company’ or ‘Data Controller’) does not intentionally gather personal information regarding minors. Should information about minors be involuntarily recorded, the Data Controller will promptly erase it when required by the user.

Legal Principle and Aims of Processing

The Company informs that customers’ personal data will be processed for the purposes described below:

1. without expressed consent, to give the customer access to the part of the Company’s website (hereafter ‘Website’) dedicated to online sales of its products (hereafter ‘Products’) so that the customer can carry out all the purchasing procedures, and the Company can deal with all the administration, commercial, accounting and fiscal activities linked to online sales. More in general, the Company can also fulfil the relevant legal obligations and exercise its defence rights, if applicable; in this regard, your consent is not required because data processing is necessary to supply the Services required or to fulfil a legal obligation;
2. only with specific, distinct consent, allow registration for the corporate newsletter.

Data Storage

Your personal data will be processed for the time strictly necessary to pursue the above-mentioned aims.  After such time, they will be erased or made anonymous. If the personal data are linked to a special account created by the customer when registering on the Website, the Company will automatically erase them if the customer buys no further Products online within 24 months of the last purchase. For the purpose of registering for our corporate newsletter, your personal data will be processed until you require the service to stop, and in any case for the time strictly necessary to pursue the above-mentioned aims, after which time they will be erased or made anonymous.

Data Provision and Consequences of Refusal

Data required for the aims described in A) must be provided to register on the Website and use the services offered.

Provision of data for the aims described in B) is optional. You will therefore be free to decide not to communicate data or later refuse to allow processing of data already provided: in such case, you will not be able to receive advertising or informative material, information about the Company’s products and services, and any other initiatives, commercial and non, in which the Company is involved. You will continue to receive the services mentioned in A).

Data Communication and Categories of Recipients

Exclusively for the purposes described above, all data gathered and processed may be communicated to company staff authorised to process data due to their respective positions, as well as to the following outsourced subjects: lending institutions, carriers and forwarders, external structures working directly with the Company to run the Website, and any other outsourced service to whom data must be communicated.  Where such recipients are required to process data on the Company’s behalf they will be appointed as processors by a special agreement or other legal document.  

Data Transfer to Third Countries and/or International Organisations

Your personal data will not be transferred to non-European third countries.

Data Subjects’ Rights

You have the right (arts. 15 -22 GDPR) to obtain from our Company access to your personal data, rectification if they are not accurate, erasure or restricted processing on justified grounds, and to obtain portability of data provided by you only if they are processed by automated means based on consent or a contract. You have the right to withdraw the consent given for processing that requires it, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.  You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian authority for the protection of personal data (Garante).
